The allegorical floats
ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE ARTE E CULTURA DI CAVALLARO PAOLO GIUSEPPE (Cat. A)
DUE LEGGENDE, NESSUNA REGOLA
The float tells the story of social redemption as a force that allows people to overcome poverty, discrimination, and fear. The tiger represents courage born from anger, while the clown embodies those who fight from behind a smile. Beside them, Pulcinella and Mister Corniciello evoke uncertainty and missing luck, seated on a time machine that symbolizes an endless struggle. The beast of exclusion is the obstacle to overcome. The curtain rises on Vasco Rossi, the voice of rebels, hindered by harpies that represent censorship and prejudice. Above, a phoenix announces rebirth. To close, Diego Armando Maradona appears: a talent that rose from nothing, symbol of those who start from the bottom and conquer the world. The float becomes an anthem to freedom and change: social redemption is possible, and no imposed rule can stop those who choose to rise again.
