The miniature floats

PRIVITERA SANTI, AURORA E FLORIANA   (Cat. A)

VOGLIO DI PIU'... NON MI BASTA MAI

The relentless human desire to always achieve more lies at the heart of this allegorical reflection. Through the figures of Aladdin, the Genie, and Jafar, the work explores the fine line between ambition and obsession. On one side, desire drives self-improvement; on the other, greed consumes and blinds.
Jafar, ruled by avarice, represents the man who loses himself in the pursuit of power, while the Phoenix, reborn from its ashes, embodies the possibility of rediscovering authenticity and balance. In a society dominated by the idea of “more,” the float invites us to rediscover the value of being over having: true happiness arises only when desire transforms into awareness and inner freedom.
