CARNEVALARI D'ITALIA
In Italy, carnivals are festive occasions rich in tradition and color. Each carnival has its own unique characteristics, and here are some of the most famous Italian carnivals:
CARNIVAL OF VIAREGGIO: Known for its spectacular allegorical floats, which often depict political figures and celebrities.
CARNIVAL OF PUTIGNANO: Considered the oldest carnival in Italy, featuring parades of allegorical floats, street performances, and parties.
CARNIVAL OF ACIREALE: Famous for its elaborate allegorical floats, mask parades, and traditional dances.
CARNIVAL OF VENICE: The most famous carnival in the world, known for its beautiful costumes and intricate masks.
CARNIVAL OF IVREA: Famous for its traditional orange-throwing battle.
I wanted to create this piece to further highlight our Italian carnivals and introduce them to those who may not be familiar with them.
